About Lewis Honeycutt

Lewis "Lewd" Honeycutt was a lifelong farmer, cattleman, and pillar of the Hampton community. For 39 years, he served the Elizabethton Electric System — most of those years as a lineman — while simultaneously working his farm and tending his beloved cattle. When she and Lewis married 60 years ago, Charlotte said his very first purchase was a tractor — the beginning of a lifetime collection. A straight talker, a jokester, and a man whose heart was as big as his laugh, Lewis knew nearly everyone in Hampton, and they knew him. This auction honors his life's work and passion.
